History

In early 1983, Mr. I Fu-En founded Juridical Person Li-Ching Culture & Educational Foundation by donating shares Mr. I and his family held in Achem Technology Corporation valued at over NT$10 million. Dividends and interest accrued therefore as well as donations from other sources will be used as scholarship money and funds for educational and cultural purposes.

The Foundation was formally established with the approval of the Taipei Municipal Bureau of Education in July, 1983, and registered as a Juridical Person in September, 1983, Its headquarters were formerly 3rd Floor, 91 Nanking East Road, Section 3, Taipei, Taiwan. It moved to 4th Floor, 131 Minsheng East Road, Section 3, Taipei, Taiwan in October, 1993. Then in January 2002, the Foundation moved to its current office located at 8th Floor, 97 Jing Yeh 1st Road, Taipei, Taiwan.
