Since 1992, the Li-Ching Foundation has been helping schools in China to improve educational facilities and to sponsor talented students and teachers. 

The Foundation has awarded many scholarships to underprivileged students from schools in China including Shan-Dong University, Lu-He Senior High School in Beijing, Jia-Ding Senior High School in Shanghai, Li-Ching Elementary School in Ping-Du-Gao-Ge-Jhuang of Shan-Tong Province, Li-Ching Elementary School in Siao-Yao-Jhuang of Lai-Yang City and schools in He-Yang City of Shan-Si Province.
